Ontario Street Baptist Church Final Walk Through

Capture Stratford

A week ago was actually the first time I heard the news that the Ontario Street Baptist Church was going to be demolished. I went to take a few last photos of it standing and I had wished I had a chance to document the inside of the church. I spent a few minutes taking photos, spoke with the demolition team (Schouten Excavating) and asked some questions about what all was happening. On the way out, I decided I'd ask if there was any chance I could maybe get in with steel toes and a hard hat. The friendly worker took my number and told me he'd let me know after he contacts his boss. An hour later he sent me a text and told me to come back with my steel toes. Thanks to the Schouten Excavating for allowing me to photograph the inside of the church for nearly 2 hours with a worker there to show me around. Below are the photos I took on June 17, 2019.
